PROTEOBASE is a data repository and web platform operated and managed by EuropaDX, Inc. (“EuropaDX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you access or use the PROTEOBASE website, platform, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

PROTEOBASE does not currently operate as a separate legal entity. EuropaDX, Inc. is the data controller responsible for personal information processed through the Service.

This Privacy Policy applies only to PROTEOBASE and does not apply to third-party websites, tools, or services that may be linked from or integrated with the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Once Scientific Data is made public, it may be copied, redistributed, or reused by third parties and may not be fully retractable.

When you access the Service, we may automatically collect certain technical information, including:

  • IP address

  • Date and time of access
  • Pages viewed and actions taken within the Service

Public Scientific Data may be retained indefinitely to support scientific reproducibility, long-term access, and citation.

The Service is operated by EuropaDX in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws. Where required, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses are used.

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
